Tau Pan is situated in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve over-looking the beautiful Tau Pan. The Kalahari Desert is the largest sand basin in the world, due to the area being closed to the public for many years makes it one of Africa’s last true wildlife areas.

Guests are accommodated in 8 custom made desert rooms under thatch, each room has fan and outside shower area. all rooms have a private viewing deck to enable guests to take in the stunning views of the Tau Pan water hole and Kalahari horizon.

12yrs – considered as adults
6-12yrs – we insist on private game vehicle being booked
under 6yrs – welcome if  exclusive use of the camp is booked
No children rates apply.

Game viewing & activities:

The Tau Pan is in a national park, guests activities include game drives in 4×4 vehicles, guided walks with San Bushman and bird watching over the Tau Pan waterhole from the comfort of the camp.
