Luxury Room

These rooms are set back from our main area, just behind the lounge area and have their own parking and access from the rest of the camp. Both are fitted with remote air conditioning, twin/double beds with mosquito nets built into the room allowing you to walk around the bed. Rooms are fitted with TV’s and coffee facilities are on hand. Each room is en-suite with hot showers, toilet and vanity unit, and a room service can be arranged for drinks and meals. An outside seating / balcony area is also provided.

Family Room

Our family rooms can cater for four individuals, a family of four or have extra beds added for extra guests who wish to share. All of our family rooms come with en-suite facilities, power points, ceiling fan and mosquito nets. The rooms are cleaned daily if you wish. Seperate car parking is available next to these rooms.

Single / Double

Our high quality double rooms are available close to our main camp facilities while retaining enough seclusion and privacy as possible. Authentically thatched with local materials, each room is cooled by ceiling fan and have double mosquito nets as standard.

Rondavels

Each rondavel has two beds, mosquito nets, lights and ceiling fan. The rooms have a thatched ceiling and are warm in winter and cool in the high summer months. Rondavels are not en-suite but there is a high quality ablution block situated near all of the rondavels, with hot water and shower / toilet facilities on hand, there are both male and female sections for added privacy.

Budget Rooms

Each room comes with two single beds or bunk beds. Set The rooms share the ablution block with the camp site, only a short walk from the rooms, these are separated male and female areas. The rooms can have extra bed rolls added should you require. Bring your own bedding.

Game Viewing & Activities:

Quad biking

A Quad biking safari is available for single people or larger groups of up to twenty. You will be transported to pick up the bikes and taken on a wildlife and local tour of the bush and pans, lasting most of the day, lunch is provided with this true exploring adventure.

Power Kiting

One of the latest additions to the extreme sport culture and only done at Gweta Lodge. Experience speed of 60Kph whilst only a few inches off the ground in our buggies or just have a blast with some of our sport and stunt kites. All training and equipment is provided on this day long activity trip into the heart of the Botswana environment.

Land Yacht

Similar to Power Kiting with a permanent sail attached to your buggy, experience the pleasure of this water born sport on the dry sand flats of the Makgadikgadi pans, all training and equipment is provided with the option of more than one day tours on this activity.
