Motsentsela Tree Lodge  is a intimate lodge ideally situated away from the bustle of Maun , perfect for the more discerning traveler, on their way to or from the Okavango Delta. Motsentsela Tree Lodge is situated on a small game farm , measuring 200 hectares.

Motsentsela Tree Lodge consists of seven large Meru style tents, each with en suite toilet facilities, catering for a maximum of fourteen clients. The tents are comfortable, simply furnished but stylish and attractive. All tents are on decks, surrounded by trees and are well spaced for privacy. Recently 2 new Honeymoon cottages have been added. The Cottages are thatched with a unique outside shower set amongst the forest. Another feature is an en suite large circular bath with stunning views.

The main thatched complex consisting of bar, lounge, entrance hall and dining room is very spacious, stylishly furnished with large windows. The front is bordered by a large teak deck, which surrounds two large trees, a Leadwood and a Bird plum, from which the Lodge gets its Setswana name. Off to one side is a swimming pool, also with teak deck surround.

Game Viewing & Activities:

Small game such as ostrich, giraffe, zebra, kudu, duiker, impala, gemsbok, eland, jackal and several nocturnal species including aardwolf and aardvark are present and a recent bird count notched up over 120 species. There are 3 marked walking trails for guests to explore the Farm and view the game and bird life. These are safe and easy to use and vary in length from 1 to 2 hours depending on the guests.
