Baines Camp, named after the famed nineteenth century explorer and artist, Thomas Baines, is set amongst shady trees and waters of the Okavango Delta. Baines Camp is an exclusive lodge, located on the Boro River, to the west of Chief`s Island in a private concession neighbouring the Moremi Game Reserve.

Baines’ Camp features 5 suites set on elevated platforms with wooden decks offering expansive views over the permanent water of the Boro River.
The suites feature a luxury bedroom, an en-suite bathroom & private viewing deck. The four-poster beds are fully mobile, giving guests the choice of slumber under star laden skies.
The main area features an oversized deck for outdoor dining and views over the permanent water of the lagoon. There is a swimming pool with 2 thatched sala’s on either side.

Your stay at Baines Camp is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, all local brand drinks, scheduled safari activities, park entrance fees and laundry.
Game Viewing & Activities:
The area is superb for viewing all animals and bird species. Game Drives are conducted in 4X4 vehicles and are done early morning and late afternoon or as otherwise requested (subject to availability). As Baines Camp is situated on a private concession, night drives are available and are usually combined with the afternoon activity.
Walking Safaris are conducted with skilled, armed professional guides.
Mokoro (dug-out canoe) safaris explore the waterways at the gentle pace of a poled mokoro (subject to water levels). The unique and educational elephant interaction is also available. Get up close and personal as you spend a day with semi-habituated elephants.
