Game Viewing & Activities:

The wildlife at Duba Plains is fascinating. As the vast open grasslands are often isolated from the mainland by deep waterways, so the variety of animals is not as high as in other areas within the Okavango, game viewing here is a dramatic experience. Thousands of buffalo are hunted almost daily by up to 4 different prides of lions. Often the hunting is during the day – so you should have some great photo opportunities. Film-makers Dereck and Beverly Joubert filmed “Relentless Enemies” Lions and Buffalo at Duba Plains.
The camp offers a variety of activities, ranging from mokoro and boating excursions to game drives in open 4 x 4 vehicles and walking safaris (at the manager’s discretion) if water levels permit.
