Motswiri Camp  is a traditional tented safari camp. The camp overlooks the western Selinda Spillway . This is where the annual Okavango floodwaters  meanders past the camp and brings with it a myriad of bird and wildlife.

Motswiri Camp comprises of 4 double and/or twin traditional meru tents, which are erected under leadwood trees. Each tent overlooks the spillway. The tents each have en-suite bathroom facilities wth open air showers and plenty of hot water. The lighting is solar generates 12V DC and charging facilities for cameras etc. are available with the camp offering a limited number of adapters. The camp has an outdoor bar and boma area. There is also a small curio shop available. All meals are table’d hôte – early morning light breakfast; late morning brunch; afternoon tea; three course dinner. Special diets are catered for on request.

Elephant are common, with densities during the dry season on a par with those of the Chobe. Lion are resident and their nocturnal roars are a feature of the camp.
Cheetah are frequently seen towards the north, however leopard sightings are less common – but rewarding when encountered. Wild Dog are also spotted on accasion in the area.
Motswiri is excellent for the less common antelope like roan, eland and sable – particularly during the dry season. Other common species include, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, hyena, a variety of antelope, & the chance to spot a number of a nocturnal species.

Game Viewing & Activities:

Motswiri offers canoeing (dependant on flood levels), game walks as well as day and night game drives. All activities are conducted by professional guides . Activity times are not set and the guests can arrange their daily itinerary at the camp directly with their guide.

Other activities offered may include special day visits to the nearby village. Bush brunches and dinners can also be arranged and guests can be out of camp for the full day. Should guests wish to do a visit to the village or have a bush breakfast, or have sole use of a vehicle, or enjoy a full day game drive with a picnic lunch, this can be arranged – at the time of making the booking.
