Day: 1 & 2

Upon your arrival into Maun Airport you will be met by a representative from The Booking Company who will welcome you and assist you with your connection onto the light aircraft for your flight to Xugana Island Lodge, where you will stay for 2 nights.
Xugana Island Lodge is situated on a island in the Xugana lagoon, in the heart of the Okavango Delta.
Xugana Island Lodge accommodates 16 guests in eight large raised reed and thatch chalets. Each chalet is twin bedded with en-suite facilities, showers, overhead fans and a private deck. There is an open boma and al fresco dining area facing out over the expanse of crystal clear water that makes up the permanent Delta. The lounge, bar and dining areas are set under the Ebony and African Mangosteen tree canopy in open sided thatched areas. The swimming pool, located amongst the mature gardens, is in the center of the island.
Mokoro trips in dugout canoes, combined with walking, to surrounding lagoons and islands in the concession give guests the chance to experience a classic Delta safari. Motor Boat excursions through the reeded waterways are also enjoyed here. Xugana is a true water land paradise with no vehicles. Bird-watching opportunities are spectacular. Fishing for bream and tiger fish is also offered as an activity at Xugana Island Lodge.

Day: 3 & 4

After an early morning activity and breakfast, you will connect with light aircraft for your flight to Camp Moremi, where you will stay for 2 nights.
Camp Moremi is situated on Xakanaxa Lagoon in the heart of the Okavango Delta, within the Moremi Game Reserve. Xakanaxa is renowned as one of the best game viewing areas in Botswana. Built in giant ebony trees, the magnificent Moremi Tree Lodge is an elevated thatch and timber structure which houses a main lounge, wildlife reference library, cocktail bar and dining room.
Camp Moremi accommodates 22 guests in East African-style safari tents, individually situated on raised teak platforms. Each tent is exquisitely furnished with its own private bathroom. The large sun deck affords an unsurpassed view of Xakanaxa Lagoon as well as a secluded swimming pool, covered boma and elevated observation platform.
You will track game on morning and afternoon game drives by open 4×4 safari vehicles – there are frequent sightings of lion, leopard & cheetah, as well as wild dog. Explore the Xakanaxa Lagoon and surrounding Okavango channels by motorboat which has exceptional bird-watching opportunities.

Day: 5

After an early morning activity and breakfast, if time permits; you will connect with light aircraft back to Maun in time for your onward connection
