Day: 1

Upon your arrival into Maun Airport you will be met and welcomed by a representative from The Booking Company, who will assist you with your connection onto light aircraft to Sandibe Safari Lodge.
Sandibe stands beside the Santantadibe River – a wide channel leading to several beautiful lagoons.
Accommodation in Sandibe’s cottages are styled in a fusion of textures. Each cottage has its own private verandah/elevated viewing deck, which has beautiful views of the Okavango Delta wetlands. The central dining and lounge area is situated under a canopy of trees. There are beautiful pieces of African art in the lodge, and traditional reed baskets, some of which were made by the lodge staff. Dinners are prepared and served in the open boma that also boasts a unique charcoal cooled wine cellar. You might be surprised by singing (by staff) in the evenings before dinner.

Day:  2 & 3

 Activities at Sandibe include daily game drives in open 4×4 game-viewing vehicles, bush walks, river cruises, fishing, mekoro excursions in the Delta, bush breakfasts, bush dinners and bird watching. Night game drives are always a highlight as you will have the opportunity to see the lesser known nocturnal animals of the Delta, such as civet, serval, genet, porcupine and aardwolf.
You will experience great game viewing here and this will include buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard, reedbuck, red lechwe, impala, zebra and hippo. The highly endangered African wild dogs are a major attraction of this area.

Day: 4

After an early morning activity and breakfast, you will connect with light aircraft for your flight to Maun , for your onward connections.

As we have good relationships with many Botswana camps, we can often reduce or waive single supplements. It is easiest to arrange these waivers outside peak season which runs from July to October, so bear this in mind when planning your safari.
